stacation plans
A statue of Fred Trueman was unveiled in Skipton today, will go and have a look at it next week. Never seen a new statue before.
Spent the afternoon sewing and watching a film. It was lovely. Have decided that when my parents are on holiday to use it as a stay cation/sewing holiday, have a list of films to watch. By the end should have the picture nearly finished.
Finished stitching the dress and got confused stitching the join bit, so now working across, finished one of the Panda ear, want to do the rest of the other tomorrow
Sent a request for a prescription to the doctors, hope it has been done correctly and that because it is not on repeat, they will let me have it

do doctors ever heal anyone?
Asked about not being a member of camera club for the next season and was told I could go to each meeting and pay £2.00 a meeting. The membership fee is £16.00 a season and 50p for coffee, so that is not viable. Asked if I could donate the £16.00 and not be a member, they will decide at the committee meeting tonight. I really could not careless which way it goes.
Bella has got into the habit of texting me to say she will not be going telling me to tell the others. I switched my phone off until after the meeting, sure enough there was a text and she asked me to text back to say I had got it. Bella did not bother with me when I was ill last year so I cannot be bothered with her.

Honestly I am so fed up, have been on tablets for nearly forty years for high blood pressure and am no better than before. They don't seem to be able to stop the pain or even control it. Do doctors ever heal anyone?

cheating dilema
It is camera club tonight and it is the silly competition where the worst slide is the winner. The idea is we have two slide projectors side by side showing slides. Each member in turn chooses which slide to be knocked out, when all slides have been shown we go through again but if there are an odd number of slides one that has been removed gets put back in. A friend won one year with a slide that had been knocked out 3 times.
I have problems with competitions because I believe the photographs in competitions should not be digitally altered, and will not enter competitions or vote on them. What do I do tonight do I refuse to vote and make a fuss. Also what do I do about my membership. I have already come off the committee as I cannot say this is what I agree with.
This leads onto do I continue to go when the next season starts, I love going and if it was called photo and computer manipulation group. I love looking at the photographs and really learn from them so it would be a shame not to continue going but by paying my membership fees, I am saying I agree with what the club stands for and I don't

background
Spent ages searching for my end money bag in my bed. It was in the conservatory. My target for the week, finished it this afternoon. I dislike stitching with more than two strands of cotton and prefer to stitch with one. The background is worked in two strands of green and one of pale blue. It is also worked in half stitch which grows too quickly. Now that that is out of the way can start on the fun stuff. Working on a boot which is so good. the target now for the week is to finish the boot and do some of the sewing machine.
Had a few hot flushes today, as it has been so cold they were welcome, the only trouble is they make me feel like a need for a wank so that is what I am going to do now

black pudding and research
The day has started brilliantly, just weighed my self 10 stone 3/4 pounds, will I ever get under 10 stones without having surgery? Followed the weigh in by having breakfast a slice of bread with lemon juice and soy sauce with carrot, cheese, mushroom and black pudding., warmed in the microwave Tried sliced black pudding from Asda for the first time, really liked the fact it did not have a skin to be cut off, did not like the taste, or rather could not taste it.
Jersey are going to make it law next year that children will have to wear cycle helmets, there is a discussion should it be law here. The part of me that likes the idea of people being safe thinks it should be. On the other hand, think how it would affect Uncle Peter. He would not wear one, would it stop him riding his bike? It would not be the same with him not riding his large bike round the village, wonder how many miles a week he cycles.
On the news there has been some research that shows that parents that have multiple births, have more expenses, duh who could not tell you that, how much money was wasted on that!

dull and duller
This is the blog of a dull, stubborn 47 year old lady, who will moan and bore for England.
This morning spent sewing, whilst watching Eragon.
The embroidery is Dimensions Gold Collection Button 'N Bears. Finished stitching the bear in a blue waistcoat, did a few stitches of the red fabric roll. Did some of the background. The background is stitched in half stitch with 3 or 4 strands, grows quickly but the stitches are too chunky for my liking.
Thinking of my next project at this rate it will be finished before the June deadline.
