It is camera club tonight and it is the silly competition where the worst slide is the winner. The idea is we have two slide projectors side by side showing slides. Each member in turn chooses which slide to be knocked out, when all slides have been shown we go through again but if there are an odd number of slides one that has been removed gets put back in. A friend won one year with a slide that had been knocked out 3 times.
I have problems with competitions because I believe the photographs in competitions should not be digitally altered, and will not enter competitions or vote on them. What do I do tonight do I refuse to vote and make a fuss. Also what do I do about my membership. I have already come off the committee as I cannot say this is what I agree with.
This leads onto do I continue to go when the next season starts, I love going and if it was called photo and computer manipulation group. I love looking at the photographs and really learn from them so it would be a shame not to continue going but by paying my membership fees, I am saying I agree with what the club stands for and I don't
Have decided to take part in the competition tonight but will just choose the picture on the left whatever it is. Will see if the treasurer can come up with a suggestion about the membership
This morning I weighed 10 stones and 1/4 pound which is very slightly less than yesterday
